Not only happy to design the best stroller of the market, Bugaboo has joined (Red), the global fund to fight Aids in Africa (joinred.com). And not satisfied to do for that a specifical product, as Apple and many over brands, and even if the (Bugaboo)Red will be launched with it logo ado(red), Bugaboo is the first (Red) partner to offer 1% of all their products!
So you're not limited to a red stroller to participate; you can choose the color you like and enjoy that marvellous stroller, and be sure that a part of your money will help Africa to fight Aids.
I just say Bravo!
Discovered this week-end at Playtime, I'm in love with this high chair which comes from Finland and is signed by Seimi. Convertible in stool or high-chair, with or without backrest, this simple and practical furniture mix a funny aspect with it round lines and a light and smart design. Not so big, it will find it place in each kitchen without ruin the decor...
Not yet available to order online but to discover (have a look also on their excellent "peti crib") on Seimi's website.
I'm usually not fan of youtube video's but as I talked you few days ago about the Bugaboo Bee I cannot resist to present you this discovery!
Closer to Pedro Almodovar than to a TV spot, they have found a gracious and playful way to present the different fonctionalities of their urban stroller. The city is dreamlike and bustling, as seen through baby eyes, and the stroller's ballet becomes the symbol of our urban effervescence!
Dedicated to urban people (who don't need the large wheels), the Bee is attractive for it compacity, simplicity and agility. Even if we lost the reversible handlebar, that stroller should be as useful in the subway as to make a "sales shopping trip" on the Galleries Lafayettes! This (very!) short video shows that Bugaboo has a new time designed a very "friendly to used" product.
In the same time Bugaboo stops the production of the Gecko, the Cameleon staying as the must-have of the brand (and the favorite stroller of the Culottes Courtes!)
Stokke, the designer of the famous XPlory stroller, proposes to offer it evolutive Tripp Trapp high chair through a photo contest around the family. Send them an image of your family, your pregnancy, your baby or your children: be creative and you maybe win the Tripp Trapp (3 winners each 14 days until March)!
All the infos are on the dedicated pages of the Stokke website.
We continue the nap, this time more cocoon and luxurious, in the suspended Leander cradle. A so perfect place, which float and balances with the movements of the baby, for it best comfort and security...
A little jewel of Danish design which could be suspended from the style-conscious stand or a hook in the ceiling. It is sold complete at Bebedoudou (FR) and separately (cradle - stand kit - cover) at Bumpto3 (EN).
It gives desire to lie down, isn't it?
The Bugaboo is without contest one of the best strollers at the moment. I found it only two drawbacks: it expensive price (about 700 $) and the carriage which cannot be used for car transport. Otherwise you have on your hands a really ingenuous and efficient little jewel. Light and extremely manoeuvrable, a simple rocking motion with the handlebar permit to choose the position of the wheels: in the city with the small wheels at the front we drive it with one hand and on uneven ground it big wheels are never stopped. It system permit also to always let the sun in the back of your baby.
Easy to store for travel, this buggy is very comfortable for the children too, even if it looks a little "hard" on the fist view. We have tested it on pedestrian ways and beaches on the (superb) isle of Houat (South Britanny), and it was a real pleasure. The stroller has resist to many difficult uses, and stayed always perfectly manoeuvrable.
It's an investment which will enjoy you at each walk !
