The first pieces of the summer collections from Barbara Lang for kids are just arrived at Keddy Factory and it's as usual very tempting, with always a mix between a "roots" first impession which becomes delicacy when you look closer.
As for example that linen coat, so charming then you'll be impatient to see spring coming!

I'm fall in love with Lili & The Funky Boys, young French brand dedicated to babies discovered at Playtime where they presented a gorgeous winter 2009 collection made with linen and alpaca, about which I'll be back with greediness in september...
But winter is ending and it's now their summer collection which arrives at LFG: a 3 months/2 years collection where dresses, blouses and blommers are declined all in softness between dove grey, caramel and almond green. All is temptation, charm and delicacy, even the basics as the body's in jersey cotton or the snuggle suits (excellent idea for a birth present) with their finitions full of refined details...
I can't imagine then a baby could be better pampered than with that tenderness marvels...

It's a very sweet collection which is presented this spring by TroiZenfantS: colors are sober, cuts are fluent and fabrics very light, with always that retro spirit which remind the insouciance of the 50'S, and the delicacy which make the kids so touching.
Special mention to their very funny swimsuits, which remind the one's created for the mum's by Guia la Bruna (site)...

Other discovery at Playtime, Ninetonine is a Spanish design studio which proposes very nice furnitures, with sober lines but full of wheeze.
Starting with that "millipede" presented for the first time at the salon: climbing toy and wooden horse in the bedroom, it modules can be assembled to become bench or stools for the tea party...
A simple and funny idea, in the same time kid's toy full of imagination and nice and practical complementary furniture, that millipede will soon becomes a must-have of hype interior's!
The Ninetonine website is under construction but you can already discover some of their creations.

La Queue du Chat presents it summer 09 collections and it's as each season a rapture: clothes are fluent, with nice cuts, very hard-wearing (they remind a famous French brand with a boat on the label..) and with that naive and funny design full of poetic and eccentric creepy-crawly.
I'm definitely fan of that brand which produces in organic cotton and in a fair-trade process without forget comfort, quality, and above all that touch of happyness which makes that clothes so pleasant.

Discovered this week-end at Playtime, I'm in love with this high chair which comes from Finland and is signed by Seimi. Convertible in stool or high-chair, with or without backrest, this simple and practical furniture mix a funny aspect with it round lines and a light and smart design. Not so big, it will find it place in each kitchen without ruin the decor...
